Heavy rainfall is possible in portions of the state, which raises concerns for flash flooding and renewed river rises. Severe storms are not expected at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed. && NWS Des Moines will discontinue the Hazardous Weather Outlook product (HWO) on September 30th, 2026.
