...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN HARDIN...SOUTHERN
FRANKLIN...EAST CENTRAL WRIGHT AND SOUTHWESTERN BUTLER COUNTIES
THROUGH 1130 PM CDT...

At 1043 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northwest of Iowa Falls, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Iowa Falls, Ackley, Alden, Dows, Coulter, Geneva, Rowan, Bradford,
Popejoy, Owasa, Galt, Iowa Falls Municipal Airport, and Ackley
Municipal Airport.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 153 and 165.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Des Moines .
