...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following
  counties, Lapeer, Macomb, Oakland and St. Clair.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 137 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. Rainfall rates
    of greater than 1 inch per hour may continue for the next
    several hours.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Pontiac, Imlay City, Romeo, Oxford, Almont, Capac, Rochester,
    Clinton Township, Armada, Memphis, Dryden, Emmett, Macomb
    Township, Lum, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Attica, Lake
    Orion, Brockway and Washington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
