.DISCUSSION...Overnight RH recoveries will be excellent, as strong
radiational cooling favors cool nights and patchy overnight fog
development. Daytime RHs will fall into the 35-40% range on Tuesday
afternoon, with deeper mixing favoring drier air aloft mixing down.
Strong daytime heating will favor better coverage of afternoon
cumulus as well. Ahead of a cold front approaching the region,
temperatures warm into the lower 80s areawide on Wednesday. With
another good mixing day, expect RHs to fall into the 40% range and
southwest winds to gust 20-30 mph. The above mentioned cold front
moves through Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, bringing
widespread precipitation to the area. Cooler conditions settle in for
the end of the week, with another round of rain chances on Friday.
