Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan
National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
358 PM EDT Tue Sep 2 2025

.DISCUSSION...High pressure that has been in control of SE Michigan
weather over the last several days gives way to the next low
pressure system during Wednesday. Gusty SW wind lifts temperatures
into the lower 80s before showers and thunderstorms move in during
the afternoon through Wednesday night. Much cooler weather then
settles into the region in the wake of this front and persists into
the weekend.
