This hazardous weather outlook is for southeast Michigan.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A strong cold front is projected to cross Lower Michigan Wednesday
morning. West wind gusts in the 30 mph range are likely with gusts 40
to 45 mph range becoming more likely during Wednesday.

Cold air also moves into the region and leads to activation of lake
effect snow showers Wednesday night and Thanksgiving Day. There is a
chance that coverage and duration will be sufficient to affect
holiday travel. Highly localized snowfall totals ranging from a
half-inch to two inches will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A strong cold front is projected to cross the Great Lakes late
Tuesday night and Wednesday. Snow squalls and high end northwest
gales are likely during the late week period. A Gale Watch is now in
effect for all marine areas from Wednesday morning through Friday.
