...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST FRIDAY...
...LOW WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...During the Gale Warning, expect sustained winds up to
  36 knots from the west with gusts up to 45 knots. The largest
  significant waves will be 7 feet with a potential maximum wave
  height of 10 feet. During the Low Water Advisory, abnormally
  low water levels expected.

* WHERE...Michigan Waters of Lake Erie from Detroit River to
  North Cape MI.

* WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 9 PM EST
  Wednesday with the largest waves expected around 9 PM EST
  Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal
  water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As of 9 AM, the water level at Toledo had
  already fallen below the critical mark for safe naviation. Water
  levels on the western Lake Erie basin will remain low through
  Thursday. The critical mark for safe navigation is five inches
  below low water datum. Water levels for the western basin are
  expected to drop to several feet below low water datum this
  afternoon, and will remain critically low through Thursday.

Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the

* WHAT...During the Gale Warning, expect sustained winds up to
  36 knots from the west with gusts up to 43 knots. The largest
  significant waves will be 6 feet with a potential maximum wave
  height of 8 feet. During the Low Water Advisory, abnormally
  low water levels expected.

* WHERE...Inner Saginaw Bay SW of Point Au Gres to Bay Port MI.

* WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 9 PM EST
  Wednesday with the largest waves expected around 11 PM EST
  Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal
  water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As of 9 AM, the water level at Essexville
  was 6 inches below low water datum. Persistent southwest gales
  today will cause water levels to drop to two feet below low
  water datum this afternoon. The critical mark for safe
  navigation is 10 inches below low water datum. Water levels are
  forecast to gradually rise this evening as the winds trend more
  westerly.
