The largest significant waves will be 3 feet with a potential maximum wave height of 4 feet. During the Low Water Advisory, abnormally low water levels expected. * WHERE...Michigan Waters of Lake Erie from Detroit River to North Cape MI. * WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 8 AM EST Monday with the largest waves expected around 8 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Below normal water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...West winds to 20 to 25 knots are expected in the western basin of Lake Erie on Monday with gusts up to 30 knots. This will cause water levels in the western basin to decrease and the water level at Toledo will likely fall below the critical mark for safe navigation, which is 2 inches below low water datum. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
