...Lake effect snow drift east through the evening...

Latest radar trends show the main lake effect snow band shifting
east, now focused right along the Lake Huron shoreline from
roughly Port Hope to Port Sanilac. This band will continue to
drift offshore through the remainder of the evening. Heaviest
snowfall rates will be focused along and east of M-25, where peak
rates may still approach an inch per hour. Rapid reductions in
visibility to a quarter mile or less are also likely. In these
locations, additional accumulations around an inch will be
possible. Drivers should be prepared for variable road conditions
through the rest of the evening as temperatures hold several
degrees below freezing.
