Cedar River at Cedar Rapids affecting Linn County. .The Cedar River across eastern Iowa will have a crest tonight or Thursday and then have some drop Friday and Saturday before rising again this weekend due to runoff from episodic rainfall tonight through Thursday night. Flood stage is most favored to be reached late in the week to early next week. Depending on where specifically the heaviest rain falls through Thursday night, and any additional rainfall this weekend, moderate flood stage may be reached at Cedar Rapids early next week.
