.DISCUSSION...
Light rain will be seen for areas west of the Mississippi River
today, as a system passes through. Overall accumulations will be
low and less than 0.25" throughout. Although, recent rainfall has
left our soils quite moist. These conditions, along with lighter
winds and higher humidity, will lead to a low fire danger through
the weekend.
The Grassland Fire Danger Index -GFDI- does not account for
precipitation that occurs or any snow on the ground. Please
make appropriate adjustments.
