.DISCUSSION...
Morning clouds will give way sunny skies this afternoon as a
storm system exits to the east. Warm southerly winds today
will increase to 10 to 15 MPH with gusts up to 25 mph late
this morning into late this afternoon. High temperatures today
will range from the lower 60s along the Highway 20 corridor to
the upper 60s south of a Fairfield to Galesburg line. Dry air is
forecast to linger across northwest Illinois north of Interstate
80 with minimum relative humidity values of 25 to 35 percent. GFDI
Ag values remain low.
A cold front is forecast to move across the area Wednesday morning.
Winds will turn to the northwest behind the front and increase to
10 to 20 MPH with gusts up to 30 to 35 MPH, Minimum relative humidity
on Wednesday will range from 30 to 40 percent. GFDI Ag values remain low.
