...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of east central Rock
Island, Scott, south central Clinton, northeastern Muscatine and
southeastern Cedar Counties through 915 PM CDT...

At 832 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Walcott, or 7 miles east of Durant, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Davenport, Rock Island, Bettendorf, East Moline, Durant, Eldridge, Le
Claire, Hampton, Port Byron, Walcott, Blue Grass, Rapids City,
Princeton, Long Grove, Cordova, Riverdale, Donahue, McCausland,
Stockton, and Maysville.

Those attending the Quad City Airshow are in the path of this storm
and should prepare for IMMINENT DANGEROUS WEATHER CONDITIONS.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 74 in Iowa between mile markers 1 and 5.
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 277 and 306.
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 1 and 3.
 Interstate 88 between mile markers 1 and 5.
 Interstate 280 between mile markers 1 and 7.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for northwestern
Illinois...and east central Iowa.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
northwestern Illinois...and east central Iowa.
