...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northwestern Mercer,
southwestern Rock Island, west central Henry, Scott, southwestern
Clinton, Muscatine, Cedar, northeastern Louisa and east central
Johnson Counties through 300 AM CDT...
At 212 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near West Branch to near Muscatine to near
Mannon. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Davenport, Iowa City, Moline, Rock Island, Bettendorf, Muscatine,
East Moline, Tipton, West Branch, Durant, Eldridge, Milan, Coal
Valley, West Liberty, Wilton, Walcott, Blue Grass, Buffalo,
Andalusia, and Lowden.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 74 in Iowa between mile markers 1 and 5.
Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 250 and 298.
Interstate 74 in Illinois between mile markers 1 and 8.
Interstate 280 between mile markers 1 and 18.
