The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Hancock County in west central Illinois...
  South central Warren County in west central Illinois...
  Northern McDonough County in west central Illinois...

* Until 100 PM CDT.

* At 1208 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located near Fountain Green, or 12 miles west of
  Macomb, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Macomb, Blandinsville, Sciota, Western Illinois University, Argyle
  Lake State Park, McDonough County 4-H Grounds, and Spring Lake
  around 1215 PM CDT.
  Good Hope and Macomb Municipal Airport around 1220 PM CDT.
  Scottsburg around 1225 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
Bardolph, Swan Creek and Youngstown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
