...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO
6 AM CST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations around 10
  inches with up to 14 inches possible. Winds could gust gust to 25
  mph.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast, and southeast Iowa.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 6 AM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult
  to impossible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. the latest road conditions are
available at 511ia.org or by calling 511.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.
