Day 1 Fire Weather Outlook
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
1042 AM CST Sat Nov 22 2025

Valid 221700Z - 231200Z

...NO CRITICAL AREAS...

No changes needed to the Day 1 Fire Weather Outlook with limited
fire weather concerns across CONUS. Minimal rainfall over the past
several days has enabled marginally dry fuels to persist across west
TX. Surface high pressure in the wake of a cold front will be
centered over OK through the day supporting a dry,
easterly/southeasterly flow across west TX through the afternoon.
Although dry, relative humidity remaining above 15% combined with
wind speeds of less than 15 mph through the afternoon, will limit a
broader fire weather threat.

.PREV DISCUSSION... /ISSUED 1257 AM CST Sat Nov 22 2025/

...Synopsis...
No fire-weather concerns are anticipated Saturday.
With recent widespread wetting rainfall, cooler temperatures, and
generally weak surface winds, conditions supporting wildfire
ignition and spread will largely be absent.
