.SYNOPSIS...Strong northerly winds will persist in the southern
waters through early Thursday with light to moderate winds north
of Cape Mendocino. Steep short period seas will crest around 8
feet early in the morning. Winds will gradually weaken by early
Friday with calmer conditions into the weekend. Various mid to
long period swells are also expected to build in throughout the
week into the weekend.
