.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS...Building onshore
surface pressure gradients between the eastern Pacific high and
interior thermal low will maintain moderate to strong northerlies
across the coastal waters, and will be strongest in the lee of
Cape Mendocino. A long-period northwest swell arriving today will
elevate sea states and increase wave steepness across all coastal
zones, maintaining elevated, hazardous seas through mid-week.
