.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS...Strong north winds with
near gale fore gusts have built through the outer waters with
more moderate winds close to shore. Steep short period seas have
built up to 8 feet in response. Winds will slightly weaken late
this afternoon and evening with winds pulling slightly further
offshore. Strong north winds will persist in the outer waters
through at least Monday with near gale force gusts fanning out
down wind of Cape Mendocino.
