.SYNOPSIS FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS...Northerlies have
subsided north of Cape Mendocino, but remain breezy south of Cape
Mendocino. Steep seas are likely though this evening south of
Cape Mendocino. Winds waves are combining with a decaying mid-
period swell. Winds ease this weekend, however a mid-period
northwest swell fills in on Saturday which will keep seas
elevated. Light winds are expected to continue into early next
week.
