.DISCUSSION...No significant changes to the previous forecast. Dry
weather and seasonable temperatures are expected today. Winds
will generally remain light and terrain driven except for stronger
diurnal westerly breezes in the valleys of Trinity, Lake and
Mendocino Counties. Cooler weather, higher humidity and a chance
for wetting rain will arrive with an upper level low on Monday.
There may even be a few wet thunderstorms with the rain on Monday.
An enhanced breezy west is forecast Monday late afternoon and
evening over the higher terrain in Lake County where wind gusts
over 25 mph are probable (50 to 80%). Additional light rain and a
few wet thunderstorms will be possible for the remainder of the
week, especially across the interior. A ridge brings warming and
drying late in the week.
