ZONE 264, BELOW 2000 FEET IN ELEVATION...
.DISCUSSION...Weaker west to northwest winds today, then
strengthen again Sunday afternoon and last overnight. The
strongest west to northwest winds will most likely during Sunday
afternoon and evening. Minimum RH`s are expected to range between
10 and 25% each afternoon through early next week, primarily in
Lake, Trinity and interior Mendocino counties. Locally poor RH
recoveries around 30% will likely continue for the next several
days over exposed ridges, especially where winds persist through
the night. Moderate to good recoveries are expected again tonight
with RH values in the 40 to 60% range for most of the interior.
Potential for fast spreading grass or brush fires will increase
this weekend and continue through Monday evening in fire weather
zone 264 where fine fuels continue to cure.
