.DISCUSSION...An upper trough is swinging through the region
today. The trough has greatly deepened the marine layer, to 3500
ft, allowing for marine influence to extend well inland. Stratus
will once again push inland tonight, with likely reach into
Weitchpec, and possibly getting into the valley closer to Orleans
in the early morning hours. The trough will enhance the afternoon
breezes, which will produce some gusts in the 15 mph range. RH
