.DISCUSSION...Conditions inland will remain calm today as a relatively
stable atmosphere sets up over the area early this week. A cut off
low pressure system is expected over SoCal, yet this should have a
minimal impact of operations here in the North. Temperatures remain
slightly higher than normal in the high 70s or so with RH values
dropping to the low 40s. Winds will continue to be diurnal, and
focused along the terrain. Daytime inversions will need to break before
any significant wind develops each day, limiting the chance for gusts.
No wetting rain is expected for the next week as well. A chance for
showers is very very unlikely, yet possible for Friday over the burn site.
A more likely scenario would be areas in Del Norte receiving the rainfall.
