.DISCUSSION...An upper level trough to the northwest of the area
will maintain a deep diurnal coastal stratus layer for the
overnight hours. This will continue the cooler than normal
afternoon temperatures and higher RH values for the near coastal
Klamath River Valley. Gusty northwest winds are also anticipated
each afternoon through the end of the week. This weekend,
conditions will become more dry and temperatures will warm back
toward average as a ridge is forecast to build into the region.
Gusty afternoon winds will continue through the weekend.
