.DISCUSSION...This afternoon, expect cloudier skies due to a shortwave
disturbance rushing through NW CA. Overnight recoveries will be substantially
due to a weaker surface inversion allowing more moisture to remain near ridgetops.
Winds will strong, especially with afternoon gusts. The unstable atmosphere
allows for increased mixing with general and local winds. This pattern of cooler
weather is expected through the weekend.
