.DISCUSSION...Dry and mild conditions will continue through
Saturday as an upper-level ridge remains anchored over the West
Coast. For the Middletown Rancheria fuel reduction project, the
primary operational focus is a stable boundary layer and light
transport winds ahead of an approaching cold front.

* Saturday (Ignition Window): Expect mostly cloudy skies as high-
  level moisture increases ahead of an offshore low. Mixing
  heights will be capped between 1000-1500 ft AGL, with light
  transport winds from the Northeast at 6-7 mph. These conditions
  may lead to limited smoke dispersal. Afternoon temperatures will
  reach near 68F with minimum RH values around 44%.
* Saturday Night & Sunday: Cloud cover thickens as the front
  traverses the area Sunday. Mixing heights will decrease to
  900-1400 ft AGL Saturday night before a notable shift in
  transport winds to the Northwest (3-9 mph) occurs Sunday
  afternoon. While wetting rain chances (40-65%) increase for
  parts of Humboldt County, conditions at the burn site are
  expected to remain dry through this forecast period in Lake
  County.
