.DISCUSSION...Dry and seasonable conditions continue this week. A
deep marine layer is likely as a trough moves over southern
California, with a trend to slightly lower temperatures and
slightly higher RHs on Tuesday. This deep marine layer may bring
marine clouds up the Klamath River and down the Trinity River
valleys Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, which will quickly
erode after sunrise. A diurnal wind pattern is expected with
westerly breezes in the afternoon and easterly winds overnight.
Winds are not expected to be particularly strong, though they
could be gusty on the ridges. A front moves through the area
Friday bringing a chance for rain. This brings a 60% chance for
any measurable precipitation and a 40% chance for wetting rain.
High end rain amounts are around a half inch.
