.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry weather is likely this week as high
pressure builds. The marine layer will become shallower tonight,
but may still bring some patchy valley clouds/fog to an elevation
of around 1500 ft. Gusty north winds are expected to limit low
cloud coverage, however. North winds will be especially gusty in
the afternoon and could occasionally gust as high as 30 mph each
afternoon. Winds ease slightly overnight, but still the
occasional gust of up to 15 to 20 mph is possible, especially in
unsheltered areas. The marine layer may be slightly deeper
Tuesday night with clouds reaching 2000 ft or higher. Any marine
clouds will likely lift and scatter shortly after sunrise, and low
cloud cover will be associated with weaker than forecast winds.
