DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 PM HST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Norbert was located near latitude 19.2 North, longitude 135.3 West. Norbert is moving toward the west-northwest near 14 mph (22 km/h), and is expected to maintain this general motion during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. Some fluctuations remain possible, but a gradual weakening trend is forecast during the next couple of days. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1002 mb (29.59 inches).
