The National Weather Service in El Paso has issued a

* Dust Advisory for...
  Northwestern Otero County in south central New Mexico...
  Northeastern Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico...

* Until 530 PM MDT.

* At 449 PM MDT, a thunderstorm outflow boundary moving through
  White Sands Missile Range 8 miles north of Holloman Air Force
  Base, moving southeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Less than two miles visibility with strong wind in excess
           of 40 mph.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Hazardous travel.

* This includes the following highways...
   Highway 70 in New Mexico between mile markers 179 and 212.
   Highway 54 in New Mexico between mile markers 55 and 80.

Locations impacted include...
White Sands National Park, Tularosa, Alamogordo, Northrup Landing,
Holloman Air Force Base, Boles Acres, Alamorosa, and Lake Lucero.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving
conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in
dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep
your foot off the brake.
