...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of western Texas, including the following
  county, El Paso.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 755 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
  - Some locations in El Paso that may experience flooding
    include...
    Mesa Street, Scenic Drive, McKelligon Canyon, Alabama Street,
    Dyer Street, and Franklin Mountains State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
