Fire Weather Planning Forecast for New Mexico and Far West Texas

.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns are low again as a persistent southeast wind has
brough gulf moisture back across the region at low levels; increasing
dewpoints and relative humidity. Aloft a moist fetch on southwesterly
winds are streaming subtropical moisture over the region. Both the
lower and upper level moisture will keep a fair amount of cloud over the
region, keeping temperatures cooler, and closer to October normals.
Winds will again become somewhat breezy. A few showers and storms are
expected again today, but focused over area mountains, and northern
lowlands. A bit drier for Thursday and Friday, but still with elevated
RH, and slightly breezy afternoons. More abundant moisture moves in from
the west, as a trough pushes through this weekend. We expect increased
chances for wetting rains widespread across all areas,
