.DISCUSSION...
For tonight, east-southeast winds around 10 mph are expected with
good overnight recovery. For Thursday, winds will be a bit lighter
and more variable, but generally from the southeast at 5 to 10
mph with good ventilation. There is a low chance of showers and
thunderstorms during the afternoon, which may create gusty and
erratic winds near the site. Due to southeasterly flow, any
showers that develop will pop up along the western slopes of the
Sacramento`s, including the site, before dissipating around sunset.
Dry lightning will be a concern as well Thursday afternoon. Winds
will again be modestly breezy from the southeast Thursday night
with good overnight recovery. Low storm chances continue into the
weekend, increasing next week with the potential for heavy
rainfall. Warm temperatures persist for the rest of the week.
