NOAA Weather Radio station WXK25 El Paso on frequency 162.475MHz is offline for a scheduled relocation from Ranger Peak to Comanche Peak. Due to an unexpected issue while relocating, this station will be down until further notice. Areas affected include El Paso and western Hudspeth Counties in far west Texas, as well as portions of southern Dona Ana and southern Otero counties in south-central New Mexico. There is currently no scheduled return- to-service date while technicians work to relocate the station and resume broadcast. If you normally rely on NOAA Weather Radio for warnings, plan to have alternative sources of weather alerts and warnings during this disruption.
