...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DONA ANA AND
NORTHWESTERN EL PASO COUNTIES THROUGH 145 AM MDT...

At 1258 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
West El Paso, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
West El Paso, Central El Paso, East El Paso, Northeast El Paso, Far
East El Paso, Mission Valley, Horizon City, Clint, Sunland Park, San
Elizario, Fort Bliss, Socorro, Sparks, Homestead Meadows, Biggs
Field, Fort Bliss Northeast, and Franklin Mountains State Park.

This includes Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 8 and 39.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
