...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN OTERO COUNTY
THROUGH 845 PM MDT...

At 805 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a couple of thunderstorms
over the northern Tularosa Basin. These storms were moving to the
east at about 15 mph. Additional short-lived thunderstorms could
develop through 9 PM. Any storms could produce downburst wind gusts
of 40 to 50 mph. Outflow could produce blowing dust, especially
along US-54 north of Alamogordo in the next hour.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Tularosa, Three Rivers, Alamogordo, White Sands National Park, La
Luz, Holloman Air Force Base, and Three Rivers Petroglyph Site.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 70 in New Mexico between mile markers 205 and 212.
 Highway 54 in New Mexico between mile markers 64 and 100.
