...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL HUDSPETH AND
SOUTHEASTERN EL PASO COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM MDT...

At 919 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southwest of San Elizario to 10 miles
southwest of Fabens. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
East El Paso, Far East El Paso, Mission Valley, Tornillo, Clint,
Horizon City, Fabens, San Elizario, Indian Cliffs Ranch, Socorro,
Sparks, Agua Dulce, Dairyland, Lake Way Estates, Colonia del Paso,
and Fort Bliss Northeast.

This includes Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 29 and 55.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
