...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR CENTRAL BEXAR COUNTY...
At 859 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with moderate
rain across the warned area. Up to 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned
area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

San Antonio, Converse, Universal City, Live Oak, Selma, San
Antonio Int Airport, Leon Valley, Kirby, Alamo Heights, Windcrest,
Terrell Hills, Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Olmos Park, Lackland
AFB, Timberwood Park, Castle Hills, Balcones Heights and Hill
Country Village.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
