...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
  counties, Atascosa, Bexar, Frio and Medina.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1009 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated patches of light
    rain. Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated up to
    3.4 inches have fallen. The heaviest rains were in the Lytle,
    Somerset, and Lacoste areas, as well as the Government Canyon
    to Scenic Oaks area, This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.1 inches are expected
    over the area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Antonio, Devine, Castroville, Charlotte, Leon Valley,
    Helotes, Lytle, Somerset, Natalia, Lacoste, Moore, Pearson,
    Noonan, Bigfoot, Bader, Schattel, Rio Medina, Lackland AFB,
    Sea World and Cliff.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
