.DISCUSSION...
Southerly winds persist into early to middle of next week keeping
higher relative humidities and excellent overnight moisture
recovery across South Central Texas. Lingering dry fuels and gusty
afternoon winds may still support very localized elevated fire
weather conditions at times, especially in rural portions of the
Southern Edwards Plateau where the lowest RH values each afternoon
are to be found. Wetting rain chances arrive into middle to late
next week with a storm system approaching out of the west.
However, there does remain some significant differences on exact
details on the latest models regarding this storm system.
