.DISCUSSION...
Minimum humidity today should generally stay at or above 30 percent,
with the lowest values in Val Verde County. Southeasterly wind will
average 10-20 mph this afternoon, with local gusts up to 30 mph
through the evening. Some low chances for wetting rains are seen
across the coastal plains this afternoon. Much higher chances are
seen Wednesday through Thursday when a tropical disturbance may
bring periods of heavy rainfall to the area. Low end precipitation
chances continue Friday and then over the coastal plains through the
weekend. Overall, the weekend will be drier with a warming trend
into early next week.
