.DISCUSSION...
A daily pattern of morning clouds and sunnier afternoons with near-
record warmth and steady southerly winds peaking 8-15 mph during the
daytime will continue through at least Saturday. Daytime RH values
will be mainly in the 30 to 50 percent range and overnight
recoveries will be 85 percent or better each morning. A slow-moving
cold front will approach the region and remain nearly stationary
beginning Sunday either over the northernmost counties or to the
north of our area. This will provide further cloud cover, slightly
lowering temperatures mainly in the northern half South-Central
Texas. However, wetting rains are not expected with this front.
Wetting rain chances increase Monday through Wednesday with a second
front, with the best chances over and east of the Hill Country,
including the I-35 corridor and Coastal Plains. This will bring more
seasonable temperatures by midweek.
