.DISCUSSION...

Partly cloudy skies are forecast for the rest of this afternoon with
periods of cloudy skies including isolated to scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. As of this writing, a light southeast flow is
ongoing with occasional gusts up to 15 mph. Winds could become light
and variable for the rest of this afternoon as a boundary sits to the west
of the I-35 corridor. The boundary could move closer to the I-35 corridor
mid to late afternoon. If this happens, then the chances for showers and storms
increase to 30 percent. Some of these storms could produce wind gusts up to 30 mph
as the storms collapse. High temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 90s
with minimum relative humidity values in the 40s. The shower and storm activity
remains through the middle of this evening but coming to an end before midnight tonight.
