Corrects previous flash flood report from 2
WSW Windcrest. Updated fatality count from
previous flash flood report. Training of
thunderstorms with intense rainfall rates
occurred across the region. A swath of 3-8
inches of rain was measured. At least 15
vehicles were swept into Beitel Creek near
Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel Road area. There
are at least 11 confirmed fatalities in this
creek and/or in nearby portions of San
Antonio and unknown number of unaccounted
for at the time of this new update. Ten
people were rescued and two others were able
to get to safety on their own.
