Preliminary results from an NWS ground
survey and supplemental footage from TDEM
and Bexar OEM concluded strong downdraft
winds with speeds up to around 75 mph caused
intermittent damage to trees and fences in
Kirby mainly south of Binz Engleman Road.
Damage included medium to large tree
branches snapped, several downed fences, and
a few locations with sheet metal damage on
structures. The most concentrated area of
damage was near James Webb Drive where a
carport roof was displaced.
