The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Telfair County in central Georgia...
  Central Wheeler County in central Georgia...

* Until 130 AM EDT.

* At 1033 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Emergency Management and GA511 have both reported
           street flooding in Scotland, GA.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  McRae, Alamo, Helena, Scotland, Jacksonville, Towns, Workmore,
  Little Ocmulgee State Park and Spring Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
