.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
Relative humidity values remain outside of critical thresholds.
A Heat Advisory remains in effect through this evening for
portions of central Georgia where heat indices are already in the
triple digits and expected to rise to above 105 degrees. A few
very isolated thunderstorms are possible in central Georgia late
this afternoon. Elsewhere, cloud cover has helped keep
temperatures in the 80s though moist air mass remains in place,
keeping RHs elevated.
Tomorrow, drier air will filter into north and central Georgia.
RHs will dip into the 30s and 40s by the afternoon under clear
skies. Temperatures will rise to the upper 80s to 90s. 20 ft
winds will be from the NW at 5-10 mph with gusts to 15 mph
possible. Mixing heights will be 4-6 kft and transport winds at
7-15 mph from the WNW to NW. ADI values will be in the 60s and
70s.
