No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Widespread heavy rainfall will overspread the area beginning
today and persisting through Thursday. Locally heavy rainfall
across north Georgia today could lead to flash flooding with
flooding and flash flooding is possible areawide on Thursday. Rainfall
totals through Friday of 4 to 8 inches are likely with locally
higher amounts possible. Winds will be SE at 5-10 mph today and
increasing and becoming gusty on Thursday.
